New Barcode Portal Information
The Altec Cloud Connector tool links your printers to the Barcode Portal and makes sure the labels are always printed with the right settings for an optimal print result. To prepare your printer for the Barcode Portal, please follow the steps below.
Altec Cloud Connector installation

1 | Download Altec Cloud Connector
To print labels from the New Barcode Portal the Altec Cloud Connector needs to be installed. Click the button below to start the download.
Browser needs to be restarted after package installation! FireFox-based browser must be closed (all open instances) before installing the Altec Cloud Connector.
MS Edge users must allow websocket connection to localhost! Open Internet Explorer, then click ⚙ (Gear Icon) ⇨ Internet Options ⇨ Security ⇨ Local Intranet ⇨ Sites ⇨ Uncheck the first checkbox
2 | Altec Cloud Connector installation
- Run the Altec Cloud Connector
- Click Next to run the installation
- When the installation is completed, click Finish
3 | Restart your computer
After you completed the steps above, restart your computer to complete the installation of the Altec Cloud Connector.
4 | Check if Cloud Connector is running
Check the system tray in your taskbar for a green Cloud Connector icon to see if the Cloud Connector is running.
Prepare TTP-series printers for the New Barcode Portal
If you’re printing with the Altec ATP-600 Pro printer, the steps below are not required. The ATP-600 Pro is already suitable for the Barcode Portal
1 | Save the ASML logo
In order to print the ASML logo from the new barcode portal the ASML logo needs to be downloaded to the Altec TTP-343 Plus.
2 | Download TPM tool
To download the logo to your printer, you need to use the TPM tool.
3 | TPM tool
- Run the TPM tool.
- Select the printer(s) from the list
If the printer is not visible in the list, try to set up a connection with a USB cable - Go to File Manager
- In the File Type dropdown menu, select BMP
- Click Browse
- Browse to the ASML logo on your local drive
- Click Download
- To check if the download was successful, click Get. The file should now be visible in the box on the left.
- Close the pop-up, and then close the TPM tool.
4 | Test your printer
To test if the Cloud Connector is installed properly and the logo has been downloaded to the printer, please load the 55x10mm labels (4022.430.06461) in the printer.
- To test your TTP-343 Plus printer use the “Test 300 DPI” button.
- To test you ATP-600 Pro printer use the “Test 600 DPI” button.

After generating the labels, the label settings section will be displayed. Please make sure the correct settings are chosen from the dropdown menus before pressing the “Print labels” button.

Yes, there is an MSI file available. You can download it by clicking on the button below.
The ASML logo should be pre-loaded on every Altec ATP-600 Pro printer. If this is not the case download the 600 dpi logo below and follow Step 3 (TPM tool).
This printer is no longer supported.
Please contact ALTEC for a replacement printer.
A 5th tile should be visible in the “Barcode Labeling and Scanning” section.

- Turn the TTP-343 Plus off.
- Press and hold the feed button.
- Turn the TTP-343 Plus on.
- Wait for the LED to blink red twice.
- Release the feed button.
- The printer should begin feeding labels, until the calibration is complete.
After installing the Cloud Connector, your printers might nog correctly appear in your printer list. This often happens when your printer is installed as a network printer. You solve this problem by restarting the computer.
